Flowers of Heaven: Flower Keys

Each character has exactly two "keys" which represent their true self. It's player discretion whether "true" means who the character would be in "canon"/in their home world, or who they have become in Imeeji; go with whatever feels right or would be most fun for you!

I. Lotus: Key of the Descending Angel —you are resonant and powerful; you transform others and give them what they need to realize your will, but you are torn between your power and your nature—the parts of it you can’t control.

II. Vervain: Key of Something Powerful —the key of cunning, genius, greatness, and the will to power …and the burdens that come with those things.

III. Acacia: Key of Something Hidden —you have a dangerous secret that hurts to keep.

IV. Clematis: Key of Something Given Gifts —you’ve been touched by grace, blessed with the revelation of the goodness of the world. (your definition of "goodness" could be pretty nonstandard, though.)

V. Aconite: Key of Rage —you are shaped by a terrible, world-shaking hatred or fury—your own or someone else’s.

VI. Wild Oats: Key of Destiny Denied —your life is a whirl of fun or pleasure; you have a hunger for these things, but perhaps sometimes the pleasure it brings feels hollow.

VII. Star of Bethlehem: Key of Something Changed Forever —at the center of your life is a great and transformative mystery (a love, a tragedy, a spiritual revelation) that made you who you are, but also irrevocably changed how you relate to the world.

VIII. Gorse: Key of Something Held in Thrall —something or someone binds you, but if you wish to break free you will have to confront the fact that you are entangled with your enemy.

IX. Honeysuckle: Key of Something, Finally, at Rest —you once were tangled up in something fierce, terrible, scarring, but now you are free, and have begun a new life… your old life, though, keeps calling.

X. Chamomile: Key of Something Romantic —you’re a romantic, dashing hero—full of life, larger than life, and willing to take on more than you can handle. you live a dream, an ideal, but there will be a cost to it.

XI. Wild Rose: Key of Something Different —something about you isn’t normal, doesn’t belong. you are set apart by your nature, but your struggle is ultimately one of trying to find your place in the world.

XII. Hollyhock: Key of Destiny in the Balance —you are in a constant struggle to become something else—to transcend your form and unfurl like a banner or a pair of wings into something greater (a leader, a savior, a cool dragon, etc.). that doesn’t mean that the process will be easy or painless.

XIII. Mimulus: Key of Something Restless —you can’t settle down: your path drives you to travel, live in the moment, seek out and interact with new and interesting things. however, the road takes its toll on you, especially when it makes you leave things behind.

XIV. Water Lily: Key of Something Spiritual —you’re an aesthetic, hermit, anchorite, or monk; you want to meditate, purify yourself, and withdraw from the ordinary world. the burdens of the world keep calling, though.

XV. Oak: Key of Something That Hasn’t Changed —you are the steady one, the rock others can cling to, or the most stubborn obstacle in their way; you have a strong connection to your values, but perhaps you are due for a crisis.

XVI. Alyssum: Key of Destiny Fulfilled —at last, you are what you were always meant to be; at last you have realized your destiny. …now what?
